Victoria Chang\u2019s most recent book of poems is Tree of Knowledge, <\/em>published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux in the U.S. and Corsair\/Little Brown in the U.K., was a finalist for the National Book Award. Her latest book of poems, With My Back to the World\u00a0<\/i>was published in 2024 and received the Forward Prize for Best Collection of Poetry, was named a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award, a finalist for the PEN\/Jean Stein Book Award, and was named a Best Book of the Year by NPR, The Guardian, Lithub, <\/em>and Electric Literature<\/em>. Her book of poetry, The Trees Witness Everything<\/em>\u00a0was published by Copper Canyon Press and Corsair Books in the U.K. in 2022, and was named one of the\u00a0Best Books of 2022<\/em> by the\u00a0New Yorker<\/em>\u00a0and The Guardian<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Her nonfiction book, Dear Memory <\/em>(Milkweed Editions), was published in 2021 and was named a favorite nonfiction book of 2021 by\u00a0Electric Literature\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Kirkus<\/em>. OBIT <\/em>(Copper Canyon Press, 2020), her book of poems, was named a New York Times Notable Book,\u00a0<\/em>a\u00a0Time Must-Read Book,\u00a0<\/em>and received the\u00a0Los Angeles Times\u00a0<\/em>Book Prize, the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award in Poetry, and the PEN\/Voelcker Award. It was also longlisted for a National Book Award and named a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Griffin International Poetry Prize. She has written several children\u2019s books such as Eureka <\/em>(FSG Books for Young Readers, 2026). She has also received a Guggenheim Fellowship, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and the Chowdhury Prize in Literature. She serves as the Bourne Chair in Poetry at Georgia Tech and as the Director of Poetry@Tech<\/a>. Her poems have been translated into many languages including Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Romanian, Korean, Greek, German, Latvian, Hebrew, and Dutch.<\/p>\n
